This forum has been created for people to share information about excess CTS equipment they might have in their district (kind of a swap forum).

We must caution people that school and district policy must be followed and they must have permission prior to posting items.
As for Skills Legacy equipment the following rules apply.

WorldSkills 2009 Legacy

Several questions have been asked about the use of and the accountability of the equipment obtained from the WorldSkills.
1.       The equipment from the Legacy is the responsibility of the school district and accountable as capital equipment assets.
2.       The equipment provided to the education environment was to support the Skill related event it came from. It is to be used to support a CTS program within a school. If this can not be achieved then the equipment could be used anywhere in the district in support of the CTS facilities.
3.       If equipment cannot be utilized in the district, the equipment could be traded or given to another educational jurisdiction.
4.       Equipment that cannot be utilized in the district, would be disposed of following the district’s policy and process of  ‘disposal of capital equipment’
5.       Due to a possibility of an audit, tracking or an inventory of the capital equipment is important.
6.       The equipment was purchased by the Government of Alberta and cannot be sold.
